If you’re an alum of Tufts, you can help shape the future of the university by casting your ballot for members of the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Council. The voting deadline is March 29.
The Tufts University Board of Trustees has 40 members, 10 of whom are alumni trustees elected by graduates. The board is the managing authority of the university and makes critical decisions on budgets, academic affairs, tuition, faculty and buildings and services, affecting the three campuses and seven schools.
Council members are alumni leaders elected by alumni. They organize programs to benefit the nearly 100,000 Tufts alumni from the undergraduate, graduate and professional schools, including career services, reunions, continuing education, regional activities, alumni awards and the nomination of trustee and Alumni Council candidates.
Watch a video of the trustee candidates, read candidate biographies and get more information on the alumni website. Alumni can vote online or via the paper ballot that was included in the Winter 2010 issue of Tufts Magazine.
