Tufts Top-Ranked as Charity

The university is lauded by outside firm for its efficient management and growth

Tufts University has received a top four-star ranking from Charity Navigator for the seventh consecutive time, in recognition of the university’s efficient management and growth of resources.

Charity Navigator uses data-driven analysis to evaluate and rank the efficiency of charities. Only 1 percent of charities rated by the organization have received at least seven consecutive four-start evaluations.

The ranking indicates “that Tufts University consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America,” according to Ken Berger, president and CEO of Charity Navigator.

The four-star ranking indicates that the university is “exceptional” and “exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its cause,” according to the organization’s website.
