CASE honors nutrition magazine for excellence

Tufts Nutrition, the magazine of the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, has won two awards of excellence from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

The magazine was awarded a silver medal in the special interest magazines category for overall excellence in writing and graphic design. Julie Flaherty, a senior health sciences writer in Tufts’ Office of Publications, is the magazine’s editor.

The twice-annual periodical also received a bronze medal for graphic design in a category that had 651 entries. Margot Grisar, art director in Tufts’ publications office, and graphic designer Paul DiMattia are responsible for the visual content of the magazine.
