Arts & Sciences begins to map out a plan for the future

A 10-member committee has been formed to help the School of Arts and Sciences formulate priorities for the future.

The Committee on Strategic Planning for Arts and Sciences includes Jeff Berry, professor of political science; Kevin Dunn, dean of academic affairs for A&S; Susan Ernst, dean of Arts and Sciences; James Glaser, dean of undergraduate education; Bruce Hitchner, professor of classics; Robin Kanarek, dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences; Krishna Kumar, associate professor of chemistry; Andrew McClellan, associate professor of art and art history; Lynne Pepall, professor of economics; and Dawn Terkla, executive director of institutional research, who is serving as an ex officio member.

A report from the committee is expected by late March 2005.
