The School of Medicine’s Graduate Programs in Public Health (GPPH) has been ranked as the top community health program (ones that offer master’s and doctoral degrees) in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

Tufts was the only school ranked #1 in the “America’s Best Graduate Schools 2004” issue of the national magazine. The Medical College of Wisconsin, Northwestern University, Oregon State University and the University of Rochester share the number two spot.

U.S. News only ranks accredited programs and schools. The Tufts MPH program is ranked as a community health program because it is accredited through the Council on Education for Public Health as a graduate program in community health/preventive medicine, according to Robin Glover, program manager for GPPH.
