Harbor walk to raise funds for Floating Hospital

Feel like taking a walk for a good cause?

The School of Medicine is looking to put together a 50-member team to take part in the Floating Hospital Boston Harbor Walk on Sunday, June 1. All proceeds will benefit the hospital, which is part of Tufts-New England Medical Center.

The walk starts at 9 a.m. at the Bayside Expo Center and will travel six to eight miles to Castle Island in South Boston.

The cost to register for the walk is $25 and includes a T-shirt and refreshments. Each walker is being asked to obtain pledges of at least $100, including the $25 registration fee. The fund-raising goal for Team TUSM is $5,000, and all members of the Tufts University community, along with family and friends, are encouraged to join the team.
