A new name

The Department of Restorative Dentistry at the School of Dental Medicine is now called the Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry.

The name change better reflects the department's curriculum and clinical oversight work, according to Dr. Robert Chapman, department chair. The change was approved by the university's Board of Trustees.
