Learning through osmosis

A new animated film by the Farrelly brothers is teaching kids how to stay healthy.

The film takes audiences inside the City of Frank (the body of Frank Detorri, played by Bill Murray). Osmosis Jones, a white blood cell cop played by Chris Rock, and his rookie partner, Drix, a cold capsule played by David Hyde Pierce, combat a dangerous virus that has attacked the city.

"It's a wonderful mix of comedy and science that can be enjoyed on several different levels," said Dr. Terrence J. Griffin, associate professor of periodontology at the School of Dental Medicine.
