Learning in retirement

TILR spring 2002 registration begins

Twenty new courses in humanities, fine arts, social sciences, physical sciences and environmental studies will be offered in spring 2002 as part of the Tufts Institute for Learning in Retirement (TILR), a program for semi-retired and retired alumni and community friends.

TILR provides a stimulating learning experience for those who are intrigued with the idea of continued learning. The courses are peer-developed and taught, and active participation is a central principle of TILR.

TILR invites you and your friends to enroll in the spring 2002 session, which begins on Friday, March 15, 2002, and concludes on Monday, May 13.

An additional component of TILR is the Lunch and Learn series, which affords all members an opportunity to explore new subjects, make new friends and strengthen their ties to the Tufts community.

The cost of enrolling is $175 for up to two courses for the spring session.
