Magic Circle Theater: Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Jr. Tufts’ summer children’s theater presents the tale of Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Rag Queen and other favorite characters as the “curiouser and curiouser” girl heads to Wonderland. Magic Circle Theater: The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) Tufts’ summer theater for children brings to life the Roald Dahl novel about the only friendly giant in the world. While other giants feast on “human beans” and try to terrorize children, the BFG collects wonderful dreams and delivers them at night. Tickets are $7. Cummings Community Celebration & State of the School Address The 4th annual event will include a review of the accomplishments of the past year, a look forward to goals for the coming year and presentation of awards of excellence to faculty and staff. Dinner will be served for faculty, staff, students and their families. Games and activities for children (and adults) will be available. Medford Wind Turbine Tour Join the Tufts Eco-Ambassadors as they tour a wind turbine in Medford. The tour will begin at the McGlynn School with a short presentation about the permitting and installation of the turbine, followed by a visit to the turbine. Meet at McGlynn School, 3002 Mystic Valley Pkwy., Medford, at 12:55 p.m., or if you would prefer to carpool, meet at the Office Of Sustainability at 12:45 p.m. RSVP to emily.parker@tufts.edu and indicate whether you need a ride, or whether your have a car available. Tour ends at 2:30 p.m.
